New England, late 18th century
The rectangular top above a conforming case with thumbmolded slant lid opening to reveal a compartmented interior with eight short drawers with cockbeaded surrounds over eight valanced pigeonholes centering a prospect door enclosing a valanced pigeonhole and drawer above four graduated long drawers with cockbeaded surrounds over a molded base, on bracket feet with shaped returns (feet replaced)
45½in. high, 44½in. wide, 20¼in. deep
