The rectangular top with outset columns surmounted by a foliate and scroll-carved backboard above a rectangular case fitted with two drawers, all over one long drawer above carved scrolling foliate embellishment flanked by a bottle drawer and a door enclosed by acanthus and ring-turned stiles, on ring-turned and reeded tapering legs

Microanalysis indicates the secondary wood is Juglans cinerea butternut, also called white walnut and Pinus of the white pine group.
