The movement by Rouviere
With white enamel Arabic dial with star five minute and gilt dot five minute markers, signed 'Rouviere à PARIS', pendulum regulation at 60, with pierced gilt-metal criss-cross hands, with glazed hinged bezel in a drum case, with foliate apron, surmounted by Jupiter's eagle, flanked on each side by a flaming urn-capped rectangular spreading column, with paw feet and sunflower mounts, on a rectangular panelled plinth with foliate and beaded mounts, on turned toupie feet, the movement with circular plates and four back-pinned pillars, twin barrels with anchor escapement, with countwheel strike on bell, with two winders and Apollo mask pendulum
