An unusual mahogany striking wall clock with electric remontoire, second quarter 20th century
The rectangular case with convex glass for the dial and oval lenticle below, circular silvered dial with painted Arabic chapters, signed Ingersoll/ELECTRONOME, with synchronous wind for the going and striking trains, striking with two pairs of hammers on rod gongs (? lacking) on the hour and half hour, with electrical remontoire, the power received via a transformer and glass bulb on the backboard -- 22¾in. (58cm.) high
