The case with pineapple to the pediment and foliate mouldings to the cornice, conforming moulding to a recessed and brass-lined panel to the front, brass loop handles and fishscale sound frets to the sides, glazed rear door, on brass ball feet, the white painted Roman dial with black painted hands, restored or later signature G. Cocks/Bristol, the twin wire fusee movement with anchor escapement and strike on gong, trip repeat, with pendulum holdfast to the backplate with engraved border -- 22½in. (57cm.) high
