The case with brass handle to the breakarch top, arched silk-backed fishscale sound frets to the sides, with brass-lined front door and bone escutcheon, on brass bracket feet, the silvered and engraved Roman dial signed Tho,s Pace/LONDON, with subsidiary strike/silent ring in the arch, blued steel hands, the five pillar movement with verge escapement and strike on bell, trip repeat, with engraved border to the backplate and conforming movement securing brackets, with repeat signature to the centre -- 15¾in. (40cm.) high to hilt of handle
