Manuscript on cream paper, 570ff. with 12ll. of black naskh within gold rules, gold outer rule, Persian interlinear translation in red nasta'liq, gold and polychrome marginal medallions, opening gold and polychrome illuminated bifolio interleaved with a folio of prayers in black shikasteh within gold clouds, and preceded by further prayers within gold and polychrome floral illumination, illuminated marginal medallions, occasional marginal commentary in black shikasteh within gold clouds, sura headings in blue on gold illuminated panels, final folio with red Persian commentary signed by 'Ali Asghar in Jumada I 1227, followed by bifolio with further prayers, slight staining, in gold lacquer floral binding repaired at spine, gold lacquer doublures
