A note on the last flyleaf in the hand of Muzaffar al-Din Shah Qajar records the fact that the prayer book was given to him by Aqa Darvish the son of the deceased Mu'ayyid al-Dawla on 10 Dhul Hijja 1319 20 March 1902. This was Naw Ruz and the feast of adha and the Shah presented it to Atabek A'zam (Amin al-Sultan).
