The tapering double-edged watered steel blade with very slight medial ridge descending on each side from a cusped part cartouche with elaborate intricate interlaced arabesques extending to pendant cartouche with signature or owner's name on a gold ground, the walrus ivory hilt of typical form originally inset with precious or semi-precious stones in the form of flowerheads and leaves on the upper and lower terminals, inlay now all missing, in a red velvet covered wooden sheath with simple upper steel band with suspension loop, velvet worn
