A NASRID POTTERY BORDER TILE
From the Alhambra, Granada, South Spain, 14th/15th century
Of rectangular form, with moulded raised ribs dividing the colours, the main register with a reciprocal off-white and manganese design of stepped crenellations, a plain green band above, slight chipping to extremities
3½ x 5½in. (9 x 13.7cm.)

Lot Essay
