Each of rectangular form, the central large panel with a complex geometric design centred on a ten-pointed star with ridged bands dividing tesserae of various geometric forms, these tesserae inlaid in ivory and with other woods forming further geometric designs, simpler panels of geometric designs above and below without the inlay, in a border of similar inlaid cartouches, areas of damage and old restoration

The technique of these doors is unusual in that the tesserae and the dividing stringing are both glued onto a pine backing board. It is probable however that this is the work of the (probably late 19th century) restorer who, having taken apart such a complex geometric design, would have had problems reassembling it.
