A SIX-PIECE AMERICAN SILVER TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE**
Marked Theodore B. Starr, New York, circa 1900
Comprising: coffee pot, teapot, cream jug, covered sugar bowl, waste bowl and kettle on stand, each of squat globular form on four scrolling bracket feet, the bodies chased with panels of rocaille and foliage centering two cartouches, one engraved with a monogram, with applied scroll borders; the coffee pot with tall neck, the pots with hinged domed covers with button finials; the kettle with swing handle on conforming circular stand with burner.
The kettle on stand 11½in. (29cm.) high; the coffee pot 8in. (20.3cm.) high; total gross weight 140oz. (6)
