A CHINESE EXPORT SILVER COVERED BUTTER DISH AND SWEETMEAT DISH
19th Century, the butter dish marked Wang Hing
The circular butter dish chased with two dragons centering a blazing sun, with raised ring in center fitted with a glass liner, the cover chased with a dragon and with a bamboo finial; the sweetmeats dish formed as two circular dishes raised on four ball feet, with wavy rims, the surfaces engraved with birds and prunus, joined together at center with a ball and bamboo loop handle.
