A VICTORIAN SILVER FOUR-PIECE TEA AND COFFEE SERVICE
Marked Mappin and Webb, London, 1887-1894
Comprising: coffee pot, teapot, cream jug and open sugar bowl, the oval bodies with bands of lightly engraved repeating floral bands and blank laurel wreaths, with gadroon borders, the pots with straight spouts and wooden loop handles, with hinged covers with turned wooden finials, the cream and sugar with angular loop handles and gilt interiors, marked on bodies.
The teapot 10¾in. (27.3cm.) long; gross weight 50oz. (4)
