TWO GEORGE III SILVER SNUFFER TRAYS
One snuffer tray, marked Henry Green, London, 1788, the other marked Robert Makepeace and Thomas Carter, London, 1776
The first snuffer tray oval with molded border and out-turned ends, the center engraved with a coat-of-arms; the second snuffer tray of hourglass form with a gallery formed of scrolls between beaded borders, the center engraved with a crest, the mustard pot marked under the base and under the cover, the spoon on the back of the handle, and the snuffer trays each marked underneath;together with a mustard pot with an oval fluted body and flat hinged cover engraved with a crest, and clear glass liner with marks for London, 1786; the spoon with beaded border.
