A GEORGE II SILVER MILK JUG
Marked London, 1752, probably John Bayley
On spreading circular foot, the globular body chased with a country scene of a peasant dance, the neck of horizontal ribs, with scroll handle with leaf-cap, marked underside of foot; together with a Dutch silver box, marked with prestige marks, rectangular with panels of foliate scrolls, the cover chased with a scene of a peasant dance.
