A VICTORIAN GILTWOOD MIRROR of George III style with central rectangular plate within a C-scroll and foliate-sprayed carved frame flanked by further plates with central confronting C-scroll cabochon-clasp entwined with scrolling serpents and flanked by further rockwork C-scrolls, the cluster column uprights surmounted by confronting scrolling espagnolette-masks flanking a scrolled broken pediment with domed floral patera acanthus and rockwork above a central cabochon clasp, the sides carved with scrolling palm froms and Hoho birds upon a rectangular base, re-gilt, 19th Century, with chalk inscription to the reverse 414DD
