Of oval form and on shaped-oblong base and four recumbant lion feet, with two demi-triton handles each blowing a conch shell and fluted domed cover with detachable foliage finial, cast and chased with bands of foliage, acorns and oak leaves and with two vacant cartouches each within military trophy surround, applied twice with a coat-of-arms and with detachable plain liner, marked on base, body, cover and liner, the base stamped 'B. SMITH DUKE ST. LINN INN FIELDS' - 9in. (23cm.) wide
