maker's mark of J. McKay, Edinburgh, 1814

The stand on three leaf-capped paw feet and with detachable cylindrical lamp, the coffee pot of baluster form and with curved spout and hinged domed cover with detachable finial, chased overall with scrolling foliage, floral swags and a crest, the stand and burner engraved with a crest, lamp, stand and coffee pot fully marked, the finial unmarked - 12¼in. (31cm.) high
