Of shaped-circular form, on four hoof feet and with moulded border, engraved with a coat-of-arms within Baroque cartouche, marked on reverse - 14½in (37cm.) diam.

The arms are those of Berkeley impaling Ferrers for Thomas Berkeley of Spetchley, Co. Worcester and his wife Mary (b.1717/18), daughter of Edward Ferrers (1678-1729) of Baddesley Clinton, Co. Warwick Thomas Berkeley died without issue in 1742 and his widow married Francis Cholmeley of Brandsby, Co. York.
