A RARE 56-BORE HARVEY'S PATENT SIX-SHOT SELF-COCKING "HAMMERLESS" PERCUSSION REVOLVING CARBINE, No. 3693, with rifled rebrowned twist sighted barrel, case-hardened cylinder stamped with serial number and with chamber numbers from 1 to 6, signed scroll engraved case-hardened frame, safety-catch on the left side, the nipple-shield cut out on the right side for capping, scroll engraved blued trigger-guard, figured walnut butt cut on the right side to house the original blued rammer/nipple wrench, the cavity with hinged blued iron cover, blued iron butt-plate, and much original finish, by William James Harvey, Exeter, London and Birmingham proof marks, circa 1854
