A fine copy of Tirion's atlas of the world, this copy with the addition of 10 extra maps of the Americas, taken from later editions of this and other works. Koeman describes this issue of the Nieuwe Hand-Atlas under Tir 3, commenting that between 1744-69 the number of maps varied from 60-100, with copies rarely having a printed index.
