In plain case, the signed white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, up-and-down indication at XII, blued steel spade hands, the signed frosted gilt 1/2-plate fusee movement with free-sprung bi-metallic balance, diamond endstone, blued steel helical hairspring, English lever escapement, jewelled to the spring barrel with screwed chatons, further engraved 105, Liverpool Road, London, with engraved crests as maker to the Admiralty and to the King of Sweden and Norway,under dust cover inscribed William Robinson Cabot from Elliot Cabot Lee, Brookline, March 16 1899, with a push piece in the band to disconnect the winding system when the back is closed, hallmarked London 1894
