A FRENCH BRONZE FIGURE ENTITLED 'LE TRAVAIL', cast from a model by Antoine Bofill, the figure of a forger standing bare-chested and bare-footed with rolled up trousers and wearing a turban on his head, holding a pair of tongs to his left side and in his right hand a large hammer which rests on an anvil behind him, hanging on the base of the anvil pincers and a chisel, on a naturalistic base signed Bofill and the letters and number LU/5 in a roundel, and with scrolled title plaque to the front Le Travail, late 19th Century
