A COALPORT CREAM-GROUND 'JEWELLED' VASE AND COVER, the two gilt loop handles with animal's head terminals and the cover with a spire finial, the shaped cylindrical body with a band of pendant matt gilt lappets enriched with turquoise 'jewels' below horizontal gilt bands of chain-pattern, C-scrolls and lines and above a band of stiff leaves, the swelling lower body with a band of loop, dot and dart-pattern, repeated on the cover, on four gilt paw feet, with a powdered gilt interior (some minor glaze crazing, minute wear to gilding on rim of vase), green printed marks, gilt pattern number V.6119/A and 1st/5 200, circa 1902
