A ROYAL WORCESTER RETICULATED AND 'JEWELLED' DOUBLE-WALLED TEACUP AND SAUCER with a pink and gilt bamboo-moulded handle, the outer wall and the saucer pierced with a band of turquoise honey-comb pattern with gilt seeds at the intersections and reserved with stylised brown and gilt lotus-pods, the pink borders gilt with zig-zags entwined with foliage enriched with white and turquoise 'jewels', within chased and seeded gilt bands, the pink well of the saucer and the base of the cup with a 'jewelled' and seeded gilt band of loops (small crack to footrim of cup), iron-red MN monograms, cup with green printed mark and date code for 1878, saucer with impressed mark
