A COALPORT GOLD-GROUND 'JEWELLED' OVIFORM VASE AND DOMED COVER, the two ribbed handles moulded with vertical beads, painted with two sprays of apple-blossom delineated with raised gilt lines, within matt gilt shaped quatrefoil cartouches, the ground enriched overall with white 'jewels' and gilt seeds, the fluted, waisted stem and the cover with vertical bands of turquoise 'jewels', on a beaded square base enriched on the underside with a powdered gilt lustre (minor flakes to gilding on cover), blue printed mark, pattern number V2754, circa 1890
