A ROSENTHAL PORCELAIN CYLINDRICAL VASE with two gilt double-ropetwist handles, the white ground painted by M. Greiner with four cherubs after Rubens within a gilt rectangular cartouche edged in black and with indented upper corners, the handles with scrolling leaf terminals extending into a wreath of berried foliage encircling the upper body, the tapering neck moulded with horizontal bands, on a flared fluted stem and square plinth (very slight wear to gilding, repaired rim chip to plinth, slight cracks to upper part of plinth on interior), signed, green printed marks, circa 1930
