A VIENNA-STYLE PLATE painted by Wagner with a scene entitled Trúmerie of a maiden wearing a gold robe over a white shift, seated on a stone plinth in a classical interior with purple flowers, a metal-work ewer and bowl at her feet, the young girl smiling as she watches a dove flying above, another perched on the edge of the bowl, within a chased gilt well and a yellow border reserved with shaped pink, blue and claret panels enriched in gilding, signed, blue beehive mark, iron-red script and Germany, pattern number 11581, circa 1900 9½in. (24cm.) diam.
