A PAIR OF DRESDEN SCHNEEBALL VASES AND COVERS, the finials formed as conical clusters of flowers, the tapering oviform bodies applied in high relief with twisted scrolls flanked by large 'snowballs' on pendant green stems and by pairs of birds, the grounds applied overall with rows of yellow-centred white millefiori (scrolls detached and broken, pieces lacking, chips to covers and damage to one neck), imitation blue crossed swords marks, incised 606, circa 1880
