A drawing, clearly by the same hand, attributed to Zanchi by The Reliable Venetian Collector is in an English private collection, J. Stock, Disegni Veneti di Collezione Inglesi, Venice, 1980, no. 59, illustrated.
Pompey fled, after the defeat of his army by Julius Caesar, to Egypt and was murdered on his arrival there
