gouache on paper heightened with gold, in a mountainous landscape behind screens, the lady sits on a marble stool while four maidservants henna her feet and prepare her clothes, a fifth sits to the left on a bearskin rug, (very slight flaking and rubbing), mounted as an album leaf, cream border with gold and black flowering vine between black, gold and white rules, blue outer rule, on buff leaf painted with polychrome genre scenes, verso with 18ll. of black shikasteh, cream and blue meandering vine borders, on buff leaf with drawings of genre scenes heightened with gold, red and green, (very slight flaking and marking), mounted, framed and glazed
