A QAJAR ENAMELLED COPPER EWER AND COVER of baluster form with loop handle and curving covered V-section trough spout, the domed cover with polygonal knop, the exterior of the body enamelled with scenes of carousing and cavorting, a band of lobed panels above and below depicting human figures, three bands of black inscription cartouches around the neck, the handle with extensive similar inscriptions and lion-head terminal, the cover with four seated figures together with glasses and wine flasks and a white cat, incorrectly dated AH 888, circa 1850 (slight damages)
