A SULTANABAD BOWL of rounded form on short foot, the interior grey ground moulded with white scrolling arabesques around the figure of a flying crane, all motifs with turquoise highlights and covered with cobalt-blue dotted motifs, the exterior with a band of angular arcading with similar decoration, 14th century (slight restoration and flaking of glaze)
