(16.5cm.) high, and ANOTHER SIMILAR on spreading trumpet foot with hexagonal base, the flat-topped rounded body of drop form extruded into a trough spout, the sides engraved with confronted simplified birds with triangular cast heads flanked by engraved scrolling panels, the top with copper inlaid roundels flanking kufic inscription panels, the loop handle with bird finial, 12th century, 5 7/8in.
