AN ANTIQUE SHIRVAN RUG, the ivory field with a lozenge lattice linked by small floral panels containing palmettes, in blue keel-arch with diagonal panels above a shaped concentric floral panel, the spandrels with stylised hands, combs and a row of birds, in a brick-red border of polychrome hooked motifs between ivory and light blue flowerhead stripes (very slight repairs, replaced selvedges)
