The nickel plated movement jewelled to the centre with gold alloy balance and inscribed Antimagnetic, the matt silvered dial with raised gilt Arabic numerals, subsidiary seconds and blued steel hands, in circular two piece case with chamfered bezel, Oyster Patent screw down winder and screwed back, case, dial and movement signed
30 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

Watches signed by Hans Wilsdorf the founder of the Rolex Watch Company, are very rare. It may be that with this line of watches he was trying to establish a premier marketing line in addition to the normal Rolex Oysters.
