XU5 from Auckland "Via Marseilles" to England, bearing 1858-62 soft paper 1d. dull orange with re-entry (R.14-12), 2d. blue (small split in one upper corner) and 6d. brown, all with clear to large margins and neatly cancelled "1"; Auckland and Salisbury (13 May) arrival c.d.s. on reverse; XU5 a fraction soiled, otherwise fine and a most attractive example of the 9d. rate via Marseilles.
