1843 (Aug.) printed letter insert advising of the printing of a new Free-Trade paper written by James Wilson, the insert bears the handwritten signature of Richard Cobden; 1847 (16 June) cover addressed to George Wilson in Manchester (one time Chairman and Secretary of the Anti-Corn-Law League) and showing the embossed emblem of the Free Trade Club on flap (tear), also an attractively engraved "MANCHESTER ANTI-CORN-LAW ASSOCIATION. Members Ticket" with "Land & Trade are twins; they wax and wane together.", some faults but an interesting group
