The nickel plated self-winding movement with gold alloy balance, 25 jewels, adjusted to five positions and temperature, numbered 632612, the textured dial with raised gilt quarter hour marks and dagger five minute divisions, gilt hands and sweep centre seconds, the gilt movement with chamfered bezel, screw down winder and steel screwed back, case, dial and movement signed
34 mm. diam.

Lot Essay

It is rare to see the dial of a Rolex chronometer wristwatch inscribed in German Amtlich Geprüfter Chronometer. This watch is illustrated on page 192 of Rolex by James Dowling and Jeffrey Hess.
