The nickel plated bar movement jewelled to the hammers with bimetallic balance, 29 jewels and eight adjustments, repeating the hours, quarters and minutes past the quarter on two gongs, the engine turned matt gilt dial with Arabic numerals and subsidiary seconds and blued steel spade hands, the satin finished gold case and bow with Art Deco style black enamel decoration, with original fitted wooden box containing spare glass and mainspring, leather pouch, certificate of origin and the remnant of a letter from Spalding Gorham Inc. to Mr Frank F. Taylor, father of the present owner, describing the watch, case, dial and movement signed
