Rectangular, of octagonal section, engine-turned on each face, the cover with a four-colour gold central panel chased and engraved in high relief with flowers and foliage, a similar spray in the angles of the cover and base, the cover with flowerhead borders, plain scroll thumbpiece, marked in the base, with French marks on the bezel and side - 3 1/8in. (8cm.) long
