Bual--Solera 1845

Details
Bual--Solera 1845
Bottled by Evans Marshall, Cossart Gordon's London agents, probably in the 1960s
"1845: generally very fine, expecially Bual"
Rather confusingly Noël Cossart stated that the "mother" wine was the 1844 but that the solera was started in their centenary year 1845. Tasting note: medium-deep amber; soft, sweet, rather chocolaty bouquet; a rich, very powerful wine (a wine to drink whilst duck shooting!), beautiful acidity on the finish, lovely
