AN IMPORTANT COLLECTION OF VINTAGE PORT, CLARET AND OTHER FINE WINES Now lying London, S.E.1 Hedges and Butler, one of the best-known names in the London wine trade, was founded as long ago as 1667. The remarkable warren of cellars from which these wines were removed date back to the seventeenth century and have, until recently, housed one of the most complete and comprehensive cellars of mature claret, burgundy, port and madeira know to exist. The entire stock was recently purchased from Bass by Michael Morgan Ltd., and Christie's are pleased to offer here for sale a significant selection from the cellars. All wines have been careful inspected by Christie's staff, and have recently been removed for sale from the underground cellars at 153 Regent Street. They are now lying London, S.E.1 except for lots 343 to 348, 351, 352 to 354 which are lying at Christie's
