The letter describes the history of the proposed edition of carbon prints from Hill & Adamson negatives which was to be published by Andrew Elliot in the late 19th century. Annan adds that The photogravure reproductions were done by me for an American journal, with a small but international circulation, "Camera Work". They were much admired and helped to spread the fame of Hill.
