Traditionally painted on ochre ground with red borders, the oklad and haloes engraved with floral scrolls, two roundels and a pannier of flowers on the borders, within repoussé, chased and engraved reeded and floral scroll bands, the rim of the haloes and bezel pierced with stylised foliage, the garments with seed-pearl flowers, trellis and borders and set with two paste flowerheads, marked on rim and haloes
