Godde Laisné AParis, the arched rectangular base with foliate arabesque inlay and foliate angle mounts, flanked by glazed sides and surmounted by a putto holding an hourglass and an orb, the stiff-leaf-cast tapering toupie feet standing upon a tapering bracket with further arabesque inlay and with espagnolette-mask angles, above a foliate boss, the movement signed Jean Godde Laisné AParis, early 18th Century, restorations 17¾in.
