Broadsheets (470 x 663mm). Etched and engraved title by Brustolon after Antonio Visentini, 20 etched plates by Brustolon after Canaletto and G.B. Moretti. (Most plates with light vertical folds, the 16th plate with repaired tear along fold into image area, four plates with neatly repaired tears to margins just affecting plate marks.) Modern thin card wrappers.

The etchings are all present in the first state, before the addition of numbers. The first edition of the series consisted of 12 plates, but it was eventually expanded to 22 plates in addition to the title. The present set contains the title designed by Visentini, the 12 plates after Canaletto, 4 after Giov. Batt. Moretti and sons, and 5 anonymous views.
