Provenance: Johann Georg Karlebÿe (inscription dated 1786); Gundelach Brünn (inscription dated 1858).
A series of views of Roman antiquities. The plates are mainly arranged in pairs of one large view and one smaller plate with relating subject matter. The plates have captions in German and Latin, and an edition with Latin title and text was published in the same year. Cf. Berlin Kat. 1889 (1782 edition, but mentions edition of 1761).
