Oblong 2° (274 x 400mm.) with 52 ORIGINAL PEN AND INK DRAWINGS (51 with image area: 170 x 280mm. approx.; one double-page, with image area: 169 x 630mm.), unsigned, each within ink border of one thick and two thin lines,with caption identification in ink in a single hand. Contemporary half morocco gilt (extremities scuffed). Provenance: Gino Doria (bookplate).

Although made to order the majority of the drawings are 'customised' by the inclusion of a constantly changing cast of characters and scenes from daily life: street vendors, carriages, fishermen, carts, two monks, housewives, beggar-women, and families. The album includes at least 18 views of Naples, 3 of Baja, 3 of Capri, 5 of Amalfi, 3 of Pesto including a double-page view, as well as views of Pozzuoli, Ischia, Vietri and Salerno.
